A new meme I found while surfing around in the blogosphere. Hosted by Books for Company, you follow these simple rules! 🙂

– Pick a book you have been meaning to read
– Do a post telling us about the book
– Link the post up in the linky
– Visit the other blogs!

Easy enough, right? Here we go!

Title: Divergent

Author: Veronica Roth

When I went out of town, I bought this book at Walmart. I’d been eying it for a while and decided to finally just…BUY IT! From the ratio of my computer desk to the bookshelf, it’s directly in my eyesight.

Taunting me…

Oh! It’s just a lovely cover, right?

Sizing me up…

One day, I’ll get to it!

But I organize my books by alphabetical order (a kind of OCD) and since she’s R, well, it’ll be a moment. Maybe I’ll just skip right to it!

I’m completely convinced that there’s a meme for just about every day around the blogosphere, so, that it forces me to post everyday, I have decided that I will partake in this new one, hosted by Books That Spark! Below are the rules:

It’s simple! Simply post what you’ve read this week, or if you prefer you can do it on a monthly basis, or every other week. It’s completely up to you!

Cool, huh? Basically, you post a book that you completed that week. Luckily, I have one!

Book: Fallen Angel by Heather Terrell
Day Finished: June 2, 2011
Review

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My first Teaser Tuesday is from my current reading book, Fallen Angel by Heather Terrell.  Can’t wait to write a review for it once I finish!

“To my surprise, he smiled and said, “No, Ellie, I didn’t think you’d forgive me just because my mom baked banana bread. You had every right to be angry with me; I know I scared you yesterday.”

Hello! Awesomesaucebooks a.k.a. Tandra is here. This is my first post, as well as first In My Mailbox! I’m very excited. And..here we go!

Bought:

The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

Something Like Fate by Susane Colasanti

A good haul, no? The first three I bought from Barnes & Noble, but The Martian Chronicles is actually for summer reading. I bought Something Like Fate from Kroger. They actually have great books for about 20% lower than the bookstores…but bookstore always beat out in the end!
